Meet Our Leaders

Paul Vindigni
Chief Executive Officer

With 35 years experience serving in senior leadership roles, Paul possesses a solid understanding of international finance, operations, and technology with global leaders. Harnessing a keen customer focus, as CEO, Paul Vindigni is committed to implementing growth strategies which ensure SSI delivers outstanding software products and value-added services which satisfy the dynamic needs of the company’s loyal and growing customer base. Paul enjoys travel, mentoring, and an occasional marathon. He teaches international finance at Portland State University and holds an MBA and undergraduate degree from Iona College in New Rochelle, New York.

Brad Smith
Vice President, Global Sales & Marketing

With a proven track record of sales leadership and business development at industry leaders, Brad thrives on meeting and exceeding customer expectations. A passion for solving customer challenges with innovative solutions propels Brad to create both a strategic vision and tactical implementation plans which enhance customer satisfaction. Skilled in training and coaching high-performance sales teams, Brad also enjoys developing positive business relationships with customers, partners, vendors and co-workers. Brad enjoys sports and was a 4-year starter on the University of Oregon football team, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Economics. Brad is married and has two children.

Emil Izunagbara
Director of Information Technology

Possessing more than 15 years of experience in the IT field spanning multiple industries, Emil provides a strong background in fusing information technology initiatives with sound business strategies. Emil leads the SSI Custom Solutions Analyst team. His varied experiences in global enterprise applications, business intelligence, security, cloud-computing and technology process improvements are beneficial to SSI customers.  Emil resides in Portland, enjoys travel, is fluent in English and Polish, and is proficient in several other languages. Emil’s university studies included English Philology in Poland, Economics in London, and Information Technology in the U.S. With his wide range of multicultural and linguistic interests and talents, Emil is comfortable engaging with most anyone, anywhere.

Laura Jackel
Director of Operations

A leader and mentor, Laura has a track record of success spanning 20+ years. Laura has robust project management experience and possesses an uncommon level of expertise in managing international logistics auditing across all modes of transportation. A certified Lean Six Sigma green belt, she enjoys applying her knowledge to improving performance, solving problems, and reducing wasteful expenses for the benefit of SSI’s global freight audit and freight payment customers. More recently her leadership focus has included identifying strategic growth opportunities, implementing business process improvements, and optimizing operational & organizational effectiveness. Laura attended Portland State University and is married with 3 children.

Lynnette Moore
Director of Human Resources

Lynnette has worked as a professional in human resources and payroll for over 20 years.  Her experience includes business management & strategy, workforce planning & employment, human resource development, compensation & benefits, employee & labor relations, and risk management.  She is certified as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) by the Human Resources Certification Institute (HRCI) and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Organizational Communication from Marylhurst University.  Lynnette lives in Vancouver, WA with her husband and two daughters.  She serves as President on the Board of Directors for her daughter’s swim team and enjoys photography, reading, and spending time with friends and family.

Meet Our Founders

Mark Rodenbeck
Owner & Co-Founder

Mark has over 30 years of experience in transportation and the automation of freight payment functions.  Mark spent a decade with a Fortune 500 company leading the charge in adopting and implementing EDI freight billing and auditing when EDI first became available before co-founding Software Solutions Unlimited, Inc. in 1989.  Mark sits on the SSI Board of Directors and plays a role in SSI’s business development, helping to strategize and bring the company’s service offerings to the marketplace on a global scale.  Mark enjoys the recreation found in the northwest including golf, boating and skiing in the cascades.

Gary Rodenbeck
Owner & Co-Founder

From co-founder of a two-person startup to his current role on SSI’s Board of Directors, there isn’t a corner of the business that Gary Rodenbeck hasn’t had a significant impact on.  In his 25+ years of industry experience, Gary has earned a reputation as a freight audit and payment expert, a no nonsense problem solver, and a go-to person both inside and outside the company.  He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from Portland State University.  Gary is an avid cyclist who enjoys commuting to work by bicycle when he can.  Some of his other interests include hobby farming and going on “man trips” with his three sons.
